Joanna Woo is responsible for all things related to social media for TEDxWaterloo. She is currently pursuing a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation, hoping to build a lifelong career in the field of Human Resources.

Joanna studied Psychology with a specialization in Human Resources Management at the University of Waterloo. While attending UW, she was actively involved in planning Arts Orientation Week and was a member of Council for the Arts Student Union as well. Since graduating in June 2009, Joanna has taken on the role of Human Resources Staffing Co-ordinator with one of the Home Depot stores in the GTA. Her strong passion for Human Resources led her to recently join EPIC Technology Organization as their Human Resources Team Lead.

Joanna loves to volunteer her free time and will be attending both the HRPA Annual Conference 2010 at the end of January and Podcamp Toronto 2010 held in February as a volunteer.
